A Red Hat® Certified Engineer (RHCE®) is a Red Hat System Administration who is ready to automate Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® tasks, integrate Red Hat emerging technologies, and apply automation for efficiency and innovation. This certifications will help the candidate with system administration skills, developer knowledge of specialized frameworks on emerging technologies like containers Cloud and DevOps.

A Red Hat Certified Specialist in Red Hat Virtualization has the skills, knowledge, and abilities required to deploy and manage virtualization infrastructure, hosts, and guests using Red Hat® Virtualization. A candidate who has earned the Red Hat Certified Specialist in Red Hat Virtualization credential is able to install Red Hat Virtualization Manager and perform essential management tasks.

A Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack is able to create, configure, and manage private clouds using Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® and Red Hat® OpenStack Platform. A Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack has validated the ability to understand and work with director-based deployments, configure OpenStack domains, configure networking, configure floating IP addresses, work with Red Hat® Ceph Storage and work with OpenStack services.

The RH436 course on Enterprise Clustering and Storage Management by Red Hat is created for senior Linux system administrators and will teach about the: storage management, Storage Server, and shared storage technology. A Red Hat Certified Engineer who had successfully completed this course will be able to prepare for this Red Hat course on Storage Management and RedHat Clustering.

Red Hat Server Hardening course takes the RHCE certification or equivalent experience forward to teach professionals how they can secure an enterprise Red Hat Linux system so that it complies with security policy requirements. This training program covers many aspects of security standards and policies which system administrators need to address. These include user authentication concerns, system logging and auditing, file system integrity, and updates among other things.

The performance-based Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting exam (EX342) tests your ability to analyze Red Hat^® Enterprise Linux^® systems for common issues that may cause degraRedHat Certified System Administratordation or loss of performance and either correct the issues or gather forensic information that can be passed along to a third party.

By passing this exam you become a Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting, which also counts toward becoming a Red Hat Certified Architect.

A Red Hat® Certified Architect (RHCA) is a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®), Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer (RHCEMD), or Red Hat Certified JBoss® Developer (RHCJD) who has attained our highest level of certification by passing—and keeping current—five additional certifications chosen from the system administrator and developer lists.
